Outlook for the INOSIM BICON 1.2 update
In order to further expand the functionality of INOSIM BICON, the upcoming update 1.2 will once again bring a number of improvements regarding the exported data and the default analyses.
1) Unit allocation
If failure times occur in the model, the unit statistics output from INOSIM is now presented more comprehensively in the visualization.
2) User-defined periods of time for unit allocation
It is now possible to calculate the allocation of units for any user-defined period of time.
3) Threshold-based filling level analysis
The fraction of the simulation time in which the unit filling level is above or below a defined threshold value can be graphically displayed (see also our latest tip and trick Tank Level Evaluation).
In addition, INOSIM BICON now exports further information such as the maximum level and the threshold values for the upper and lower level.
4) Control of INOSIM BICON via VBA
With the help of the NotifyExtensions method, commands from the INOSIM Basic Editor can be passed to BICON. These commands overwrite the settings made in the configuration for the current simulation run. This enables, among other things, to toggle the export on or off via VBA.
