INOSIM Training
All beginnings are difficult – start off with a two-day INOSIM Basic Training! Let us organize a private training session at your location, in our Dortmund offices, or via the web at a date of your choice. Or join one of our open training sessions, which may be attended by up to three other customers. Are you looking for more than just the basics? Basic Training

A two-day hands-on seminar introducing you to the basic features of INOSIM, ensuring a smooth start with our simulation environment. Ideal for groups of two to four with a background in engineering, computer science, or business. Contents
- Basic modeling elements: units, recipes, operations, orders.
- Evaluation with the help of the Gantt Chart and Excel Reports, use of different experiments.
- More modeling elements: materials, resources, unit pools, branches and conditions in recipes, synchronization, thresholds.
- Modification of model parameters with Visual Basic for Application (VBA): use of controls, access to excel parameters.
- Tips and tricks for a successful start with your first INOSIM project.
Advanced Training

A two-day hands-on seminar to deep-dive into INOSIM’s more advanced features. Ideal for groups of two to four with a background in engineering, computer science, or business. Request a quote for private training at the place and time of your choice or take part in one of our open training sessions.

- Further layout elements like pipes, pumps, connections, and graphic elements.
- Recipe editor: Production stages, special operation types, synchronization across recipes, and the creation and usage of recipe modules.
- Further modeling elements like resources and resource pools, lines, shift calendars, Custom Curves and -Bars, and the access via VBA.
- Using specific control types (pool allocation, pool transfer, failure, …)
- General tips and tricks for working on INOSIM projects: Excel access and the usage of table objects.
- Using extended features of the Gantt Chart and adjusting them via VBA
- Optional: Introduction to the Statistical Analyzer Add-on
- Optional: Introduction to the Optimizer Add-on
BICON for Tableau or Power BI Training
Duration: Two days

A two-day hands-on seminar introducing you to the creation of powerful visualizations of your simulation results with Tableau or Power BI. Ideal for groups of two to four with at least some experience with INOSIM (i.e., Basic training). Request a quote for private training at the place and time of your choice, or take part in one of our open training sessions.

- Creating and customizing visualizations with filters and parameters
- Understanding of level-of-detail and utilization of sets and bins

Packaged Goods Training
A two-day training seminar to introduce you to INOSIM’s Packaged Goods Add-on.

Recipe Modules and Materials Training

A one-day training seminar to introduce you to INOSIM’s built-in recipe modules for process development and the complementary definition of materials with multiple phases and components (included in the Process and Expert Edition).

- Understanding the concept of materials with multiple phases and components and other properties.
- Introduction to built-in model library of recipe modules
- Displaying material composition in the Gantt
- VBA-access to recipe module parameters and material properties and the use of specific events
- Hands On: Design, scale and analyze a process in detail
Statistical Analysis and Optimization Training
A one-day training seminar to introduce you to INOSIM’s Statistical Analysis and Optimizer Add-ons.
Contents
- Understanding the concept of reproducible randomness in simulation
- Application of probability distributions for various simulation parameters
- VBA-access to the statistical analysis report
- Optimization parameters (pre-defined and custom) and optimization tasks
- Built-in and custom objective functions
- VBA-access to the optimization report
