“A Really Great Tool!”

INOSIM stands out at ZETA Symposium 2025

About 200 Top Leaders and Experts from Industry and Business arrived at this year’s ZETA-Symposium, held from March, 11 to 12, 2025 in picturesque Schloss Seggau (Styria, Austria). The event, moderated by Prof. Dr. Oliver Spadiut (TU Wien, Vienna University), was held under the motto Empowering The Future – Using the industrial metaverse to master challenges in pharma & biotech. Through lectures, discussions and conference sessions, it was explored how AI, Robotics, Simulation and the Industrial Metaverse can revolutionize and advance the sectors of Pharma and biotech. INOSIM was represented by our Head Of Technical Affairs Peer Sander.

Boehringer Ingelheim benefits from INOSIM

Thomas Wucherpfennig and Erik Hasenfus of Boehringer Ingelheim delivered an inspiring lecture on Process Modeling Strategies For Successful Biopharmaceutical Developments. Their presentation highlighted various modeling tools and techniques used to optimize biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes. Erik Hasenfus then discussed facility modeling, emphasizing its use in capacity planning, facility fit analysis, bottleneck identification, and sustainability measures. INOSIM is a really great tool for that matter, Erik pointed out.

INOSIM in the middle of experts

Another highlight of the ZETA Symposium 2025 was the panel discussion on the event´s second day . Handpicked speakers and industry experts, among them Peer Sander (INOSIM) and Thomas Wucherpfennig (Boehringer Ingelheim), engaged in a dynamic discussion about the current state and future trends of simulation in (bio)process development and in production.
