Sneak Preview Of INOSIM 2026

The New INOSIM (Version 2026) is expected to be released in the first quarter of the coming year. Read here for an overview of the new features in the upcoming version.

• New Resource Type: Consumables can be used to model consumables such as single-use equipment.
• Sinks can now be assigned Disposal Costs if transferring waste to a sink incurs costs and is to be considered in the cost accounting of INOSIM.
• Table Objects now have a built-in sort method. By calling it multiple times, it is even possible to sort the table by multiple columns.
• In the Gantt Chart, the date of the last successful simulation run is now displayed for the experiment name in the project window. Additionally, the display of transfer links/arrows in the Gantt chart can now be filtered at the unit level for better overview. Additionally, individual orders can be highlighted in color, both in the procedure and operation views. Labels that are too long for a bar are shortened or abbreviated to a certain degree.
• The Parameters Workbook can now be accessed (read and write) without an Excel license.
• In the background, the development environment was switched to .NET 10, released in November 2025, to ensure that the latest technology is always used and future development runs smoothly.

As usual with INOSIM, the new program version comes with a variety of well-thought-out improvements.
