After a long pause of almost three years due to Covid-19, the Process Simulation Working Group has met again. This time, the group was invited by Clariant to meet in Munich on September 21st, and discuss Online Tools for Batch Plant Optimization.

18 participants from 10 companies met in Munich and discussed a total of 5 contributions on the subject of online simulation of batch plants. The new findings were directly implemented and further developed in a workshop which focused on the perspectives of operation vs. engineering.
