Security Advisory WIBU Codemeter 8.40 and older

The supplier of our licensing solution has published two security advisories, that are relevant to INOSIM users. Codemeter runtime is included in all INOSIM installations to manage license access and is also used to run local license servers.

Both problems have been fixed in the current version 9.10, available for download on WIBU’s website. They also provide a version 8.41a for minimal update effort. Please make sure to update your Codemeter installation as soon as possible.

The next INOSIM Insight release scheduled for late August 2026 will also include the new Codemeter version.
