Do you enjoy complex tasks, want to design efficient processes for the pharmaceutical, chemical, and biotech industries, and love it when a computer does what you want it to do? Then we are looking for you to join us as a Simulation Engineer.
Your tasks
- Creating complex, event-discrete material flow simulation models with INOSIM Insight
- Conducting simulation studies for the design of new production facilities or the optimization of existing ones, as well as for the design of process equipment and support systems
- Preparing data for simulation and evaluating simulation results
- Conducting software training and providing user support
- Supporting technical sales
You don’t have to be an expert in all areas right away. What’s more important to us is technical understanding, curiosity, and the willingness to learn.
Your profile
- Successfully completed degree in process engineering, biotechnology, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable field
- Initial experience in the application of static or dynamic process simulation
- Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming (e.g., VBA, Python, MatLab) is an advantage
- Analytical thinking skills and a structured, solution-oriented approach to work
- High level of initiative and enjoyment of communication and teamwork
- Very good German and English skills, other languages are an advantage
- Willingness to travel occasionally (approx. 10%)
